Former US Senator Kyrsten Sinema accused of having extramarital affair with her security guard
Online Desk:
Former U.S. Senator Kirsten Sinn from Arizona is accused of having an affair with a member of his security team, Matthew Ammal, which led to the breakdown of his marriage to the man. The man is Matthew Ammal.
Matthew Ammal's wife, Heather Ammal, is suing U.S. Senator Kirsten Sinn. In this lawsuit, Kirsten is seeking $75,000 from Sinn. According to the lawsuit, Matthew Ammal was hired by U.S. Senator Kirsten to be his security chief after he retired from the Army in 2022.
In 2024, Matthew Ammal was hired as a national security fellow. He participated in Kirsten's various election campaigns. The lawsuit states that Matthew Ammal traveled with Kirsten to various destinations, including Las Vegas, Napa, California, and Saudi Arabia.
Matthew Amell's wife, Heather, discovered their romantic and lustful messages using the Signal messaging app in early 2024. Heather stopped wearing their wedding ring that summer. And in the lawsuit, Heather also noted that Matthew was struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, brain injury, and substance abuse related to his deployments to Afghanistan and the Middle East. At the time, Kirsten was paying for Matthew Amell's medical expenses.
Kirsten did not respond to the complaint from Heather Amell and her lawyer. Heather Amell quietly filed the lawsuit in Moore County, North Carolina late last year. This week, the film's court asked the court to transfer the case from state court to federal court.
North Carolina is one of the few states where spouses can legally seek damages from third parties in the event of a divorce.
