Sri Lanka board has threatened to cancel the PSL clearance of Sri Lankan players and the series against Pakistan if they do not play against India..!

The main incident started when the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders excluded Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman from the team without any reason. Kolkata Knight Riders were forced to exclude Mustafizur Rahman from the team due to pressure from the Indian Cricket Council.

Indian extremist Hindu organization Bajrang Dal and RSS members started threatening Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shahrukh Khan for taking Mustafizur in the team. The Indian extremist Hindu organization claimed that they do not want any Bangladeshi player to play in the IPL or on Indian soil.  Hindu organizations warned that if any Bangladeshi player plays on Indian soil, they will attack the stadium and attack Bangladeshi players. Due to such threats, the Indian Cricket Council excluded Mustafiz from the IPL. The reason they mentioned for this exclusion is that they cannot provide security to any Bangladeshi player. In order to exclude Mustafiz, the Bangladesh Cricket Board refused to send the Indian team ahead of the T20 World Cup due to security reasons. Since then, the ICC has been putting unreasonable and illegal pressure on Bangladesh to send the Bangladesh team to participate in the World Cup on Indian soil. But the Bangladesh government, ignoring all the pressure from the ICC, expressed a firm stance not to send the Indian team due to security concerns. This is why the ICC illegally excluded Bangladesh from the World Cup tournament.


Cricket analysts say that the ICC has taken such a decision regarding Bangladesh under pressure from India. Pakistan has strongly supported this position of Bangladesh and Pakistan has decided to boycott the group stage match against India to protest the injustice by standing by Bangladesh. Now the Indian Cricket Council is using Sri Lanka to play Pakistan in the World Cup match. The Sri Lankan Cricket Board has already written a letter to the Pakistan Cricket Board to play the match against India. However, Pakistan has rejected their request, supporting Bangladesh.
