India and Israel lead anti-Muslim military coalition:
An anti-Muslim military alliance is reportedly set to emerge under the leadership of Israel, with India playing a key facilitating role. Speculation has intensified following the recent visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Israel. According to some international political analysts, the main objective of the visit is to discuss the formation of such an alliance.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about the plan in an interview last Wednesday, shortly before Prime Minister Modi’s visit. He reportedly described the proposed alliance as having a “hexagon” or six-member structure.
Netanyahu explained that the alliance would serve as a shield against extremist forces. He stated that it would counter two groups: what he called the “Shia axis” and the “radical Sunni axis.” The “Shia axis,” according to him, refers to armed groups supported by Iran. However, he did not clearly specify which countries or groups would fall under the “radical Sunni axis.”
In addition to India, countries such as Greece, Northern Cyprus, and several nations in Asia, Africa, and parts of the Arab world are said to be potential participants in this alliance.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is visiting Israel after a gap of nine years, is also scheduled to address the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset, during his trip. He expressed strong support for strengthening ties between India and Israel and emphasized the importance of progress, innovation, and mutual trust in their relationship.
