Online Desk:

After the United States and Israel carried out military attacks targeting Iran, the situation rapidly heated up. In response, there are reports that Iran launched counterattacks on U.S. military facilities located in various countries in the Middle East. Amid this cycle of attacks and retaliations, international concern reached a peak, prompting the United Nations Security Council to convene an emergency meeting.

In the meeting, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed deep concern. He warned that such military actions could trigger one reaction after another, which ultimately might be beyond anyone's control. According to him, the situation could create a severe security crisis in an already unstable Middle East.

The Secretary-General also mentioned that various international news outlets have reported the deaths of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several other top leaders of the country. However, he noted that this information has not yet been independently verified.

According to the report, it has been reported that attacks have occurred in nearly 20 cities in Iran. The situation is changing rapidly, and the international community is calling for conflict de-escalation. The global community is now concerned that if the ongoing tensions are not brought under control, they could escalate into a larger regional conflict.

During the meeting, Iran's diplomat to the United Nations thanked Russia, China, and Pakistan for standing against Israeli aggression.
