CDC vaccine schedule. US update vaccine schedule 2026.
Online Desk:
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) vaccine schedule will include 11 vaccines. The agency announced Monday that it has changed its recommendations for children.
The CDC currently recommends vaccines that will be covered by insurance at no cost, Dr. Oz said.
The first category of vaccines includes measles, mumps, rubella, polio, pertussis, tetanus, diphtheria, Haemophilus influenzae type B(Hib), pneumococcal disease, human papillomavirus, varicella (chickenpox), etc.
The vaccine schedule and list were supposed to include 17 vaccines, but now only 11 will be covered. Dr. Matt Willis expressed concern about suddenly changing the amount of vaccines. He said that it would be extreme and irresponsible and risky. And he added that his biggest concern is that we will see a resurgence of diseases that were controlled by vaccines.
