The steps to be taken:
Firstly
•Selection of improved varieties and soil
Planting improved varieties of tomato seeds and choosing organically rich soil is a must.
Secondly:
•Proper care and maintenance
The tree should be given 6 to 8 hours of sunlight every day. Water regularly, remove weeds from the base of the tree, and loosen the soil.
Thirdly:
•Nutrition and Fertilizer
Organic fertilizer should be applied. Then the yield will increase.
Fourthly:
•Disease and pest control
If the tree is infected with a disease, use medicine or pesticides at first.
Also, the steps to be taken:
As the tomato plant grows, suckers or lateral branches are formed between the leaves and the main stem. This sucker grows like the main stem and produces flowers and fruits. The upper sucker is weaker than the lower sucker. The lower sucker of the flower that produces the first flower cluster is stronger and competes with the main tomato plant. Therefore, the suckers below the first flower cluster should be cut.
